Sleepy Time Is Quality Time™... Do Somethin'

©San Diego Union Tribune

Sick And Tired.

Hmmm... Well, Judge Melville's early morning court ruling was a real eye-catcher... and we ain't talking 'bout the headlines, but rather about the photos that followed Michael Jackson's entrance into the court house.

Jacko's reported back pain sent him to the hospital in the wee hours of the morning, so his not showing up to court was deemed "unruly". Therefore, he was sent a one hour warning. If within that time frame, he was not present at the court, he would be arrested-again. The high speed chase rooted from the hospital and all the way to Santa Maria, where the accused was only 4 minutes late, received by cheering crowds and a very grumpy justice department.

In walked Jackson, paler than ever (imagine that!), blue pj's, robe, and all. He pretty much made "roll right out the bed" take on a new meaning. Then, Gavin went on to say that Jackson "touched him, sexually" (duh!). Today's PJ-incident was, no doubt, another sad episode where stakes are rolling high against the presumedly guilty.

At least we got a look at yet ANOTHER, nevertheless more human, side of the King Of Pop.

Interesting.

Discuss.

Bruce Willis Does Jon Stewart.

(Editor's Note: OK, so THANKFULLY NOT LITERALLY! LOL)

So relaxed, so laid-back, undeniably cool.

Plugging "Hostage", his latest vehicle, Mr. Willis admitted to intentionally NOT dressing up, but rather grunging down for an interview for a show he calls himself "not a fan, but rather a devoted fan" of. Who would've thought? After feeding Jon's ego for a while, the latter replied with a "well, I've never seen any of your movies". Great punchline. I guess he was kidding. I hope he was. Anyway, Bruce admitted to getting a TiVO to keep track of "The Daily Show"... imagine that. At least he got his freak on by admitting that he had someone program it for him, though he hated how the amazing contraption suggested to record shows he didn't care for, such as "Live With Regis And Kelly".

Good call, Bruce!

100% Pure... WHAT?

Geri Halliwell is definitely making a comeback. The question is, what is she thinking?

First, it was disco-dippy "Ride It", an unexpected bomb in the UK charts. Now it seems she's betting it all on a karaoke-worthy rewrite of the original camp classic "100% Pure Love" (...is that even something you CAN RE-WRITE?!) Yup, the smash hit by Crystal Waters in 1997. Risky bet, for sure. It sounds glam enough, but then again, so was "Ride It" and that really didn't get her anywhere. She's a hard-working entertainer, but after her full-bodied figure regained, she needs to exploit the Ginger in her to rekindle the masses seeking a sexier, funner, original performer. Voted several times the most annoying Briton (in all the Isles!), she's gotta go on a massive PR campaign to raise her stock and capture the music fans' love (and oh yeah, money.)

G'luck to Geri. We miss her days of yore.
Has she become today's bore?
This dj hopes not.

"The Contender" is on in a while, [really] skeptical of Sly... (Anyone seen that first issue of Sly Magazine? Oh man, the "bonus" was an excerpt for the script of, what else, Rocky 6! Damn... someone please give the man a winning idea! He's worked hard enough.)

More thoughts to come soon.
Give it a whirl, post your own!

Cheers, world.
