Hypnotize: good and bad.

Bad news first.
So now Gavin admits he was, as his brothers, un-remembering of ANY previous statements to the child welfare people and other authorities, thus crediting all their statements as LIES! And now, he was pretty much cured before he met Michael, who was both a stalker and not, talking on the phone at times and avoiding him at others. Gavin admits he was "hypnotized" by Jacko's mystique... who wouldn't be? Is that a real reason? Mesereau has his work cut out for him, apparently. Let's hope he does. Sneddon and company, the show may be coming to a close, if we are quite objective and logical.

The Simple Life, not so simple after all.

Nicole and Paris hit the kiddy world tonight, airing their mishaps whilst attempting to run a kindergarden, changing diapers and all. The best part? Paris grossed out by the apparent poop bursts and Nicole declaring their first day as "No Poop Day... No one can poop today, until after school is out." Well, that and the "who wants to go get pizza instead of go to school?" recruitment.

Sorry neurons, you'll keep on losin' the battle to the enamour we face off with Fox's most famous interns.

Fat Is Beautiful.

Who loves Kirstie Alley? OK, wrong question. Who DOESN'T love Kirstie Alley?

She is THE definitive star of the year as her semi-autobiographical, reality fiction "Fat Actress" breathes new life into Showtime's original programming, alongside other faves such as the hit "The L Word" (Jennifer Beals, Flashdance-less). John Travolta's SWAT-calling, Kelly Preston's bitchy pro-bulimia tips, Jeff Zucker's Nintendo dependency... all clock into an equation for a surefire hit that we hope won't lose the momentum behind the smash... so good and smart, it hurts.

Kudos to Showtime for being a high roller and betting it all on the riskiest, most interesting project of this new season on cable. Who cares what she really weighs? 360? 290? Whatever, it's her talent, sharp wit and BIG beauty that'll keep us glued on to her madcaps through Hollywood and life. (Here's to her "getting some" soon!)

What will next week bring to Kirstie's life?
More Jenny Craig offers? NBC's prime-time slot starring (duh! who else, but...) her?
A couple more steak burgers and Moonpies?
We shall wait and see, happily.
